In case of closure, how do you see the traffic fall below 10 vessels a day? Between traffic to China that should be able to go through and Houthi own supplies, dipping below 10 seems unlikely, even if the strait is officially closed.
Two of the weapon systems not deployed to the Gulf are the B-52 and the B-1. Seems to me Yemen would be a great target for both in carpet bombing them into submission.
